So a free tool called GLAZE has been developed that allows artists to cloak their artwork so it can't be mimicked by AI art tools.
AI art bros are big mad about it.
Seeing as Twitter is gonna legally steal your work now, please use glaze to protect what you make.
Guys did you hear about Nightshade?
Using both Glaze and Nightshade would corrupt the generation of pictures mimicking artist AND mess with the AI's recognition of what everything is. Like it would generate a dog when you ask for a cat.
And it would be hell for AI bros to remove the cloaked pictures from their database ʕ 👀人ʔ
Yes. Becauae y'all can't be trusted with knowledge of the Dish Gnomes.

"... a stark reminder that genocide is about more than just the premeditated mass extinguishing o human life; it's also about the calculated, and often vindictive, destruction of a people's culture, language, history, and shared sites of community." Original post they are responding to on Literary Hub: "Gaza's main public library has been destroyed."
Here's the full article for those interested. I highly recommend the whole thing, and all of the work LitHub has published on Palestine. They're one of the big literary orgs (along with Electric Lit, Kundiman, Mizna, and Academy of American Poets, to name a few) that has truly stepped up to center issues and writers based in Palestine.
every time I hear someone say “we should just get rid of physical shops and have everything online” I get a bit angry because
a) physical shops are important for those who don’t have access to a computer/ internet/ ect
b) those “weird” and “niche” shops I love so much don’t have the same vibe online, they turn into just another website
c) I hate paying for shipping
d) it is in fact often impossible to assess the quality, appearance and just how accurate the dimensions of the item are if you want to buy from just an image
e) people lie on the internet even and perhaps especially when they want your money
f) some of us actually enjoy being shopkeepers and picking out inventory and helping customers and making fun little window displays and also we fucking hate doing online sales so SO much
